The Whitebox 5502 OpenWRT enabled router is an extremely versatile piece of networking gear. Not only is it extremely cost efficient but it also carries features that would normally be found in a much higher grades of hardware. Features such as Advanced QoS, WDS, Radius Auth, OpenVPN, and Hotspot applications. The Whitebox 5502G is also 802.11g wireless compatible with many advanced wireless features enabled by the OpenWRT firmware.

OpenWRT is a linux based Open Source firmware designed around the idea of increased functionality that is easy to use. The web interface boasts access to powerful features not normally found in such a cost effective router. This allows non-technicians to configure the router easliy, while still allowing the complex feature set required for professional deployment.
