The AER800-C1PV is a card module for the multi-port enclosures that provides the subscriber line loop extender function. It is a simple, cost-effective solution used to extend the deployable range of VDSL technologies. This unique approach to VDSL deployment enables service providers to deliver to both POTS and VDSL services on any copper pair. The VDSL Loop Extender is an active element installed in the outside loop plant. It operates as an amplifier that amplifies and equalizes the signal. The VDSL loop extender amplifies the signal power in the first downstream band and is designed to improve services for band-plans 8a-17. It will work with higher band-plans, but will not improve the additional bands. It is compatible with vectoring. Parts List

  • AER800-4P, 8P or 24P: 4, 8, or 24 port enclosure.
  • AER800-PWRV: power distribution card for 4, 8, or 24 port enclosure.
  • AEC-B1PH-D48, AEC-B1PH-A110, or AEC-C2P: Installed at the CO to supply power to the AER800-1PV on a separate power pair
